AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi, a few days ago I finally started to try these handy new automatic functions (like auto_tlrc) you all have developed, but ran into a huge problem: anything that involved 3dSkullStrip produced a horrifically warped and cropped brain. After some testing I believe I've traced the problem to 3dSpatNorm (which I believe 3dSkullStrip uses). When I run 3dSpatNorm directly on my anatomical it produced the badly maimed brain I've attached. This happens on every single brain I've tried. I can use all the original AFNI programs just fine. Can anyone please tell me what's gone wrong? Thanks,
Chris
