So I started to get a new set of binaries. The first step was to rename the directory where the old ones were. I forgot that I was at that same time still running 3dDeconvolve in another command window. 3dDeconvolve crashed, of course, but much worse, and perhaps not unrelatedly, my computer basically stopped working then. Programs and directories could not be found. A reboot got irretrievably stuck, telling me that the kernel panicked. (It's not the only one!) When I get that resolved, I will try the download again.
