Hi Tali,

For events longer than 1 or 2 seconds, the BLOCK basis function
is recommended (assuming you want a simple fixed shape response).

We don't have a great method for looking at basis functions, but
consider this for example, to generate the X-matrix for a 5 sec
stimulus (with unit response height):

3dDeconvolve -nodata 20 1 -polort -1 -num_stimts 1 \
-stim_times 1 '1D: 0' 'BLOCK(5,1)' -x1D X.xmat.1D -x1D_stop

1dplot X.xmat.1D

Note that this generates 20 1-second TRs, without any baseline.
Change the 5 to be whatever duration you want to review.
