AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Also, in a previous post, you suggest using 3dTstat to calculate a spikesum per voxel.

3dDespike -ssave spikiness -prefix despiked epi_r1+orig
3dcalc -a spikiness+orig. -expr 'step(a-2.5)' -prefix spike
3dTstat -sum -prefix spikesum spike+orig.

I'd also like to use the "spike+orig" dataset from 3dcalc to calculate the number of spikes across all voxels for each TR, because I'm noticing that certain TRs have a lot more spikes than others (which is to be expected). I've only ever done "voxel-wise" calculations and not "TR-wise" calculations on all brain voxels for a given TR. Can you tell me how to do this in AFNI.

Thanks!
Michael
