Thanks for the explanation, Rick. The thing that I dont understand is when we reach the cirtical point we're talking about, why the p value continues to get smaller but the corresponding q value does not? I thought that p values and q values were "yoked" and shouldnt the q value continue to decrease to zero even if there arent actually any significant voxels, since that value reflects the theoretical proportion of false positives?
