Can someone clarify the difference between the 'compile date' and the 'version date' listed on the AFNI front page? Right now the compile date is '4 Feb 2012' and the 'latest version' is '21 Dec 2011' (2011-12-21).

Do you recommend that I should keep my local version updated to the latest compile date? Or should I just update when there is a new version?
