AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Liana,

The "number of voxels" problem is surely because of resolution
differences between the datasets. Consider "3dresample -master ...".

As Isaac noted, those voxels are outside the mask of all subjects.

Actually, 94377 is not a big number, for voxels that are all zero across
your subject masks. The 3 mm^3 EPI mask that I am working with has about
270000 voxels, about 200000 voxels of which are all zero. I would expect
similar numbers per subject, and probably 180000 or so that would be zero
across all subjects (had I masked at the individual level). For a 3 mm
case your 94000 seems small.

But the voxel count depends on the voxel size.
