Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Hello,
I have used AFNI (uber_subject.py) to create my statistics datasets which are stored in stats.Imag_anat2epi_REML+tlrc. But I notice that in the display, I get "activation" using FDR even in the background region. I do have a few masks stored in there: full_mask.Imag_anat2epi+tlrc and mask_epi_extents+tlrc.
I was wondering: is it possible to use these masks in the display?

Thanks very much! I have a related question: sorry if this question is not well-formed. I am happy to clarify further.
Is it possible to replace an array in the NIFTI image with another array? For instance, say that I would like to replace the dataset in rall_func_REML+orig[4] (i.e. the fourth index of the seven indices in 80x80x33x1x7) with another array.
This question is coming up becau

Hi,
I have been having some issues with copying a file in AFNI format to a file in AFNI format. The file is obtained from analyzing data6 that is an example on how to use AFNI and SUMA:
I try the following:
$ 3dAFNItoNIFTI rall_func_REML+orig.
++ 3dAFNItoNIFTI: AFNI version=AFNI_16.1.01 (Apr 7 2016) [64-bit]
I get the file: rall_func_REML+orig.nii
But here is something strange t

Thanks for the help! I should have been able to figure this out on my own even with my limited knowledge, but thanks again for helping!
Here is what I did:
# Use
3dinfo on stats.Imag_anat2epi_REML+tlrc
to get:
Quote.....
Number of values stored at each pixel = 4
-- At sub-brick #0 'Full_Fstat' datum type is float: 0 to 58.4884

So, unfortunately, what I am thinking can not actually be done. I understand, no problem. But, is the file that does

Hi,
I have used uber_subject.py to fit a model with one subject. I have obtained the statistics in files called:
stats.Imag_anat2epi_REML+tlrc
stats.Imag_anat2epi_REMLvar
and I am able to extract the test statistic. I am wondering how to obtain the coefficients of the linear model and their standard errors from these (or other) files. I looked up 3dcalc and cdf but none of them seem to
