AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Otto,

I never did write the group analysis tutorial. It might have
been simply a case of running one of the s* scripts under
AFNI_data6/group_results and looking at the results.

Note that you can use the uber_ttest.py GUI to perform
basic 3dttest++/3dMEMA tests.

There is also gen_group_command.py, a command-line
tool to make writing long 3dttetst++/3dMEMA/3dANOVA*
scripts much more simple.

For 3dttest++ examples, consider any of the part A help
examples from "gen_group_command.py -help". Those
can be run from AFNI_data6/group_results.

But Gang has newer group analysis programs out, which
do not have such external help to run.
