Thank you very much for the guidance, your response has been re-read several times in an effort to understand everything that's needed :). There's still much left to do, but now has come the first roadblock.

I have managed to get this running including with my own created RoI. I am now trying to get it running with my own data. Could you please help me with figuring out what the data "func_slim+orig" represents and how do I create it from my own data?

I understand how the epi data ("epi_r1+orig" from folder AFNI_data_6) was gotten in the block-design experiment, but I also don't quite understand what exactly the graphical output of realtime_receiver.py shows - is it the relative activation of visual or auditorial RoI? And what is it correlated with (data from resting blocks?)?
