AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Thanks, I'll make the leap over to '.' notation.

This was something that our IT person requested we do for the same reason, in the past issues had come about during the backup process. I just checked in with her again, and she says that she doubts it will continue to be a problem, and was just asking us to do it to be on the safe side. I'd rather have a consistent naming system that is quick to use than one that requires later generations of lab members to edit names by hand.

Glad you liked the verbose description. Better than my earlier posts when it took a couple back and forths before you knew what I was asking.
