Oohhh, right, I totally misunderstood-- sorry about that.

You are referring to the "AFNI_GRAPH_FADE" functionality, which Bob described here:

I also see that it doesn't work on my computer, even if I explicitly set "AFNI_GRAPH_FADE = YES" in teh ~/.afnirc (which shouldn't be necessary now...).

I will ping The Bob about this...

ps: and in the lower left of the Graph viewer, I even see the word "Fading" (just to the left of the red text below the graphs), but I don't see the fading behavior occurring :(
