AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Gang,

No, I don't want to compare the 4 runs. Each subject was scanned for two resting state sessions (REST 1 and REST 2) over a period of two days. During each session, data were collected using both the left-right (LR) and right-left (RL) phase-encoding runs. I want to treat the 4 runs (REST1 LR, REST1 RL, REST2 LR, REST2 RL) as 1 run. I initially tried to concatenate the 4 epi files into 1 file prior to proc py but pt and Rick suggested me to run proc py separately. So I'll have 4 Fischer transformed seed-based correlation volumes (REST1 LR, REST1 RL, REST2 LR, REST2 RL) after preprocessing and I was not sure how to submit them into group analysis. I was wondering if it is possible that group analysis programs (3dttest or 3dLME) take multiple runs per subject, or do they only take one run per subject. Could you please clarify this?

Best,
JW
