AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Bob!

Thanks for your quick and helpful reply!

I think this will work for me, though it is not exactly, what I was trying to do.

With the adwarp command I get as output a BRIK file called brain+tlrc.BRIK and its header. If I want to preserve also the acpc information, I will receive also another BRIK files as output and its header. Of course there is also the brain+orig file in BRIK format. This makes 3 BRIK files and 3 HEAD files.

However, the unextracted brain file (head) kept this information in 4 files (3views orig, tlrc, acpc in HEAD files and 1 head+orig BRIK).

It might look a little bit strange that I worry about this stuff, but actually I want to erase the head+... files to save disk space, and I want to avoid that I am loosing the possibility to edit the markers for the TT-transformation later on if necessary. Therefore, I have to keep all six brain+ files, which use more disk space than for the unscalped brain.

If you have any guess, how to get back to 1 BRIK file and 3 HEAD files for brain+..., please, let me know.

Thanks,

Lukas
