AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I forgot a couple of details.

First, the MNI dataset is not in +tlrc coordinates. So, the "Where Am I" and "Talairach To..." tools take you to the +tlrc locations of an MNI reference frame.

Second, Tim Souza in the lab has created a MNI version of the TTatlas by "undumping," with 3dUndump, the list of TTatlas region voxels (obtained from the AFNI website) into a BRIK file using Matthew Brett's MNI to Talairach transformation. Tim will have to fill in the missing details when he gets back, but we do have a potentially useful TTatlas for MNI coordinates in AFNI, though it's accuracy and utility needs to be verified.
