AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello Yang,

I am not sure how familiar you are with the process of mapping functional data onto the surface models with SUMA. For MEG data it is the same process, alignments are carried out through the high-resolution anatomical MRI scans.

I suggest that you first have your MEG data aligned to your high resolution anatomical data (call that volume ExpAnat).
Then use the script @SUMA_AlignToExperiment to align the volume from which the surface was created (call it SurfVol) to ExpAnat. If that alignement works then your MEG data or other functional data can be mapped to the surface using afni or 3dVol2Surf.

These processes are documented at greather length here:
