hi--

i'm trying to put some activity on my freesurfer surfaces. after starting AFNI (afni -niml &) and SUMA (-spec and -sv), and linking the two--i get this message:

**warning, found too many surfaces for LDP:

LDP: /subject/SUMA/SAME
new surface: lh.white.asc
surf 0: lh.smooth.asc
surf 1: lh.pial.asc

--> ignoring new surface

i omitted the white matter surface from my spec files, but this doesn't seem to matter, i get the same error message. i also tried removing the command to create white.asc from my @SUMA_Make_Spec_FS, but again no luck.

and when i toggle the "See Overlay" in AFNI, i get a message along the lines of [surfaces do not contain the same number of nodes].

it seems that the latest AFNI includes a spec that maps between the smoothwm and pial surfaces--but something else must be happening, as i was able to view this subject's activity b/f with no problems.

any suggestions on how to fix this?
