AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Bob,
The new scripts seemed to produce some errors in the SUMA build that didn't seem to occur before. The failure comes just after the configure command for SUMA has run (it appears). I can send the entire configure output if you like. Below, I'll just include the trailing information My uninformed guess is that there is something amiss in the glib. I've installed glib2 libraries via darwinports, but I'm not sure if the AFNI builds will look in the default /opt/local/lib directory. I've just installed the glib1 set also. As it looked like the Makefile for OS 10.3 darwinports had also been recently changed, I am trying to build with that (I'll let it run tonight). I was a bit surprised by the netpbm error as I had used darwinport to install it. At least that is what I thought. I looked back again and the install had failed. Indeed, the error output asked to have a full bug report submitted developer.apple.com.
If there is something I can try, please let me know. I completely understand if you say to wait until you get Tiger. I hope it is not too long until the NIH gets the license. Thanks again for your help.

---Frank
