The macosx_10.3 and macosx_10.4 binaries on the Web site are compiled with the "-Wl,-multiply_defined -Wl,warning" flags, which should eliminate this problem. What binaries are you using? I think the _G5 binaries do NOT have this flag, which is an oversight.
