AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Nameeta,

The templates are there for those who wish to perform automatic warping to Talairach space.

The transform is not identical to the one carried out by hand and would vary somewhat with different templates.

The template we are distributing are originally from MNI: [www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca] and SPM: [www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk]. NOTE however that the templates were modified to correspond with the Talairach coordinate system (Talairach and Tournoux 1988) instead of the MNI space. This was done to keep the Talairach coordinate system consistent in AFNI.

Where am I option should work well if you are using the templates we are distributing.

cheers,
-ziad
