AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all,

I've been using the script at the URL you supplied. I made a few modifications to it and it works very well for translating the anatomical images from PAR/REC directly to BRIKs.

The same cannot be said for the EPI images, however. I've tried pretty much every combination of -time:arg and tpattern to no avail.

I've tried this with par/rec files which were exported in tz and zt order, it makes no difference.

You can see the result of this in the attached screen shot. The bottom of the screen shows the results of using to3d to convert the par/rec to BRIKs, the top shows the same par/rec files converted to Analyze format using MRIcro. I guess I could use MRIcro to do the conversion but that doesn't facilitate scripting, this is especially if you've got loads of files to convert.

At this stage I'm stumped. Anybody got any ideas.

Thank,

Colm.
