Hi,
I'm interested in controlling for variation in the BOLD response due to differences in reaction times. The following poster suggests that this is possible to do using 3dDeconvolve:

However, I'm not quite sure how to go about this. I know how to control for variation due to residual motion using the output of '3dvolreg -1Dfile' and 3dD. Perhaps the process would be similar when you want to use things other than the residual motion parameters as regressors of no interest? Or perhaps you have to use AM regression (as outlined on pp. 12-18 of the following: [
afni.nimh.nih.gov])? Or perhaps there's another way that is generally preferable?
I know this post is vague, but I'm just trying trying to get a lay of the land with respect to dealing with regressors of no interest in AFNI. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
