I have a question about the mean beta values.
After getting activated brain regions from the subtraction t-tests, I performed functional ROI (getting beta values of individual participants from each experimental condition in each activated brain region).
But, in some regions, the mean beta values were very small even though the t values of the brain regions were not that small.

For example, in the ACC, the mean beta values of A, B, and C (baseline) conditions were around 0.0012, 0.0025, and 0.0011 respectively.
And, the maximum t value of the B condition - C condition was 5.14.
But, in the the precuneus, the mean beta values of A, B, and C (baseline) conditions were around 0.0007, 0.0003, 0.0001 respectively even though the maximum t value of the A condition 5.53 (not that low).

Could you let me know what the reasons are?
As I remember, the mean beta values are relative values and, as a result, it cannot be compared with each other in terms of the values.
Am I correct?
If it's correct, is it possible to multiply very low mean beta values by some constant?
