AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Peter,

1) Nope there is no consistent feature or artifact in these brains.
2) Currently we nudge the two un-talirached datasets (i.e., structural and functional) so they are overlaid. Then I use @auto_tlrc on the anatomical and then use @auto_tlrc on the functional. It is following this @auto_tlrc step that the two datasets (structural and functional) fall out of alignment. I have not used the align_epi_anat.py script. Are you suggesting that it would be better to first use @auto_tlrc on the structural and then use the align_epi_anat.py on the functional (i.e., rather than use the @auto_tlrc on the functional)?
3) No odd shading artifacts but will keep it in mind if I see any - thanks.
