AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all,
this question applies to protocols during which it is necessary to give verbal instructions to the examined subject between each volume scan and the following one.
In order to avoid the noise caused by scanning, we acquire a volume scan in 3s and we leave 1s interval between two consecutive volume scans.
In this case, which is the value of TR? How can I tell to AFNI about the 1s interval? If I tell AFNI TR=3 or TR=4 which are the consequences on the analysis results and which steps of the analysis process are markedly influenced by this choice (obviously the stimulus reference waveforms, but what else?)

I thank you in advance for your help.
