AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

rick,
the t2 image in afni format was uploaded under the name t2_upload_afniboard.tar.
here is part of the 3dinfo output:

Data Axes Orientation:
first (x) = Right-to-Left
second (y) = Anterior-to-Posterior
third (z) = Superior-to-Inferior [-orient RAS]
R-to-L extent: -115.469 [R] -to- 103.672 [L] -step- 0.859 mm [256 voxels]
A-to-P extent: -141.937 [A] -to- 77.204 [P] -step- 0.859 mm [256 voxels]
I-to-S extent: -90.027 -to- 39.973 [S] -step- 5.000 mm [ 27 voxels]

Does it cause the probem that the orientation is defined as RAS but the I-to-S extent is
-90.027 -to- 39.973 [S] ?

If you look at the data, please note that the external landmark is on the right side.

Thanks,
george
