AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Wow, thank you! One further question, I also have to help with another analysis, so just so I don't lead my co-worker astray, let me verify.

Since her dataset has both a patient and a non-patient group perform all conditions, you're saying she would need to use a 3dANOVA3 -type 5(???), treating patient group and task as fixed variables and subjects as a random variable that might also be affected by group type, which would have to be variable A. In other words, the order of the columns would have to be group type, condition subbrik, subjects as a random variable. Is this what you mean by 'nested' design. (AxB), (BXC), C(A)? Or should her analysis be -type 4? Much thanks for any help!
