AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Rob,

Perhaps the first question is, what happens when you try it?

Dimon -infile_prefix all_runs/image -GERT_Reco -quit

There is a field in the DICOM header that Dimon checks when
deciding what run to call an image from, making the question,
does that Siemens scanner set that field for the run?

I have never received DICOM data where the scanner put multiple
runs in a single directory (as far as I recall :), so I haven't
tested this out. That leaves me with two questions...

1. What happens when you try it?
2. If you have such data, would you be willing to upload a sample
directory for me to verify?

Thanks,

- rick
