Anastasia,

No matrix is output from that, but it is stored in the dataset.
You can apply the inverse by hand, but that is not necessary.

- draw your atlas-based mask in Talairach View
- change your view to Original View
- Define Datamode -> Write-> Olay

That will save your Overlay (mask) dataset in +orig space, which
means applying the inverse transformation that is stored in the
anatomical +tlrc dataset.

On a related note, having an sform of 1 means scanner coordinates.
If your dataset were aligned to the MNI atlas, the sform_code should
have been set to 4.

Was that done in FSL?
