Hi Alex,
Actually, 8HRBRAINx2D ends with 'x2D'. Those are indeed 2D slice images.
The problem you are most likely having is between separate computers.
And there are multiple cases where that can show up. Try case 1 first,
as it is very simple.
1. By default, afni does not trust a remote host. Set the AFNI_TRUSTHOST
environment variable to be the IP address (or name) of the host where
the images are being sent from (perhaps running Dimon).
See README.environment for details of that variable.
See 'example F' from the output of "Dimon -help" for an example.
2. You may have to allow port 53211 through your firewall settings,
and possibly specify the trusted host there, too. You may be getting
blocked by iptables.
If case 2 is not clear, I'll have to suggest consulting a local admin.
